Job Description

💡 Location: This is a remote US-based role.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and live in or near their territory. 

About the Revenue Team

This team of driven and customer-focused professionals partners with organizations to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that empower their missions. Through strategic sales, consultative partnerships, and data-driven insights, they drive new business, retention, and expansion. Their work ensures Casebook continues to grow sustainably while creating meaningful impact for human services organizations.

Your Impact

As a Software Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and delivering sustainable growth across your assigned region. You’ll collaborate with a diverse, high-performing team including sales development reps, marketing, and customer success professionals to support the full sales cycle. Your focus will be on engaging human services agencies and nonprofit organizations to expand Casebook's impact.

 

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Share the benefits of Casebook’s products with prospective customers in the Northwest sales territory (Northwest U.S. and adjacent Canadian provinces/territories).

  • Target local and state government agencies, SMB nonprofits in human/social services, and Tribal government organizations.

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve the revenue necessary to attain quota.

  • Generate leads through outreach and relationships, and follow up on marketing-qualified leads.

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, providing accurate sales forecasts.

  • Establish strong business relationships with nonprofit and government leaders.

  • Drive sales opportunities from initial outreach through close.

  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.

  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM (currently Hubspot).

  • Travel up to 10% for conferences, client, or internal meetings (some may occur on weekends).

 

Qualifications

What You Bring (Skills and Experience)

  • Dedication to the success of our customers

  • Proven track record of success, preferably in the nonprofit, government, or education market. Experience selling into human services/social services organizations is preferred, as is SLED sales experience.

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate professionally with directors and c-level employees in Casebook's target market.

  • Team players > lone wolves

  • 1+ years of nonprofit or government sales experience or a combination of experience in sales and work in our target market (required)

  • Unrestricted access to an internet connection of at least 25 Mbps during standard (local) business hours and access to a home office or dedicated workspace.

  • BA/BS or equivalent education and/or work experience.

💵 Compensation: $70,000 - $82,500 Base Salary + Commissions + Benefits

Additional Information

In addition to salary and sales commission, this position includes a full benefits package including employer funded health insurance for you and a spouse, 401k, and three weeks vacation time.
