The Project Manager (PM) will support implementation of a strategic initiative of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), the organization at the forefront of lowering and containing costs, improving quality, and increasing access to health care to improve the lifelong health of Oregonians. The Project Manager will support the Call to Action, a time-bound public private partnership project that is a collaboration between OHA, the CDC Foundation, donors and public and private partners, to advance OHA’s work to improve the health of Oregonians. The Project Manager will support an output-driven, complex health project focused on external engagement and coalition-building. The Project Manager combines strong technical and management skills with an entrepreneurial and mission-driven approach that models the agency’s core values of Health Equity, Service Excellence, Leadership, Integrity, Partnership, Innovation and Transparency.
The Call to Action is a supporting effort to OHA’s 2024-2027 Strategic Plan that calls on public and private partners of all sizes, across all sectors, to make commitments that advance the five pillars of the agency’s strategic plan: transforming behavioral health, strengthening access to affordable care, fostering healthy families and environments, achieving healthy Tribal communities, and building workplaces’ internal capacity to advance equity. The Project Manager will work closely with OHA staff to manage both external outreach and internal records management related to Call to Action commitments and committing organizations. The Project Manager will leverage their expertise working in government at the local, state, or national level to help support the day-to-day activities for this project, with an emphasis on stakeholder management, external correspondence, and internal organization.
Oregon-based candidates and candidates with strong Oregon ties are strongly preferred. This position is remote with occasional travel to the office required for some in-person team meetings. Relocation expenses are not provided.
The successful candidate will be hired by the CDC Foundation and will be organizationally located with Oregon Health Authority. The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000. The CDC Foundation offers an attractive benefits package. This is a full-time position with funding through March 31, 2026.
