FSQA Tech II

The position be responsible for supporting the FSQA Management team with the implementation, maintenance and documentation of food safety and quality assurance programs in all RI facilities as part of the Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Team

• Receives leadership and daily direction from shift FSQA Supervisor and Management.
• Routinely observes production activities in RedZone to assure consistency and conformance to standards, as well as providing improvement suggestions.
• Assists in the effective completion and documentation of daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled tasks as required.
• Notifies FSQA Supervisor or Management when non-conformances are noted.
• Maintain the condition of the FSQ supplies required for daily operation.
• Conduct Food Safety Inspections in the production environment.
• Informs the team of raw material or finished goods issues.
• Operation of required laboratory instruments as required.
• Ensure compliance of incoming labels and packaging, as needed.
• May complete FSQ related production records to assure conformance to requirements
• Inspect finished product for food safety hazards including foreign material.
• Filing QA documentation as requested.
• Ability to systematically and physically place raw materials, finished good, WIP items or others on hold within ERP.
• Other duties with similar skill, work conditions, and responsibilities as assigned
