Job Title: IT Intern

Job Location: 17725 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094

Responsibilities:

The IT Intern will be responsible for:

• Auditing IT Systems for accuracy and updating missing or outdated information.
• Computer Configurations, both on-site and remotely
• Initial Triage for Technical support tickets. This includes documenting the users request and performing initial troubleshooting steps.
• Initial Audio/Visual support for conference rooms, training rooms, and phone rooms.
• Oversee the organization and accurate inventory management of IT equipment.
• Participating in various IT Projects and Initiatives.

Education:

• Currently enrolled in a college or training program with a focus on IT or computer science is preferred, but not required.

• Be diligent in maintaining assigned responsibilities
• Maintain a calm and helpful demeanor
• Be comfortable researching a solution (if there is no documentation)

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Highly computer proficient including ability to learn new software
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to quickly recognize the highest priority need and act/delegate accordingly
• Can stop/start multiple tasks and pick up where left off quickly
• Articulate and professional, excellent communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Hybrid schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office, and Mondays and Fridays, remote work is allowed.

Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
