POSITION PURPOSE:

The Loan Servicing Analyst will provide key support to the loan servicing team, which oversees a portfolio of complex, commercial bridge and construction loans. This role is essential for maintaining strong relationships with customers, borrowers, banks, and internal stakeholders. The position’s primary focus will be executing analytical tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of loan management processes, and enhancing the quality of service delivery.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee assigned portfolio of loans and debt, acting as primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including borrowers, and third-party servicers. 
  • Assist other team members with their assigned portfolio(s), as needed.
  • Partner with lending group to effectively administer the management of assigned relationships.
  • Assist with the review of all requests for disbursement of funds pursuant to lending agreements, and generate or review all necessary documentation prior to submission for disbursement. Assist with the reimbursements from repo lenders.
  • Review reporting and all data pertinent to assigned portfolio to monitor status and provide regular update to stakeholders. 
  • Review and look for areas to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery.
  • Ensure accuracy of all data and information entered into loan platform pertaining to lending activities.
  • Ensure appropriate setup and maintenance of all required bank accounts tied to assigned portfolio.
  • Coordinate all pass-through expenditures and interest invoices, and manage the accounts receivable tied to assigned portfolio.
  • Process invoices related to project expenses. This will include tracking of all legal invoices and setting up necessary vendors in systems.
  • Set up new loans in systems and confirm data accuracy in internal systems and third-party servicer’s system.
  • Share and upload documents and communication to web-based project management site.
  • Review and coordinate approval of the monthly waterfall and the overall cash management process. This will include monthly or quarterly reconciliation of the budgeted operating expenses compared to actuals.
  • Assist with the calculations for payoff letters and coordinate the necessary approvals of the letters. This will include the underlying loan and the associated repo loan.  


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in loan servicing and administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Highly analytical and detail oriented.
  • Deadline driven and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and to proactively evaluate and problem solve within the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to write correspondence and/or reports.

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required.
