About the Role:

Circa Scientific is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to drive sales of our portfolio of leading Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Cardiology products within the assigned territory & region. This role demands strong selling skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to cultivate meaningful customer relationships. The Sales Representative will be responsible for executing regional sales strategies, achieving sales quotas, and ensuring effective communication and engagement with current and future Circa Scientific customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Management

  • Achieve and exceed territory sales objectives.
  • Implement sales strategies that drive business growth and expand market share.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM and sales reporting tools to monitor territory performance, identify market trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with VP of Sales to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Develop relationships with residency and fellowship programs to drive product adoption and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing / Product Management team to stay up-to-date on product launch updates and new market opportunities.
  • Implement corporate sales and marketing strategies to competitively position the Circa portfolio.
  • Cross-sell portfolio products that support a ‘Procedural Sale’.
  • Execute new product launches within the territory.

Customer Engagement

  • Communicate product updates, portfolio changes, and educational opportunities to customers.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of EP cardiology procedures, terminology, and EP lab protocols.
  • Demonstrate effective sales techniques and initiative to motivate the team.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in cardiac electrophysiology (EP) or cardiovascular devices.
  • Experience working with minimally invasive vascular and cardiac access devices.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts in a large geographic territory, balancing travel, customer visits, and case coverage.
  • Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia treatments, ablation technologies (RF, Cryo, PFA), from key industry players (e.g., Abbott, Biosense Webster, Medtronic, Boston Scientific).
  • Strong understanding of EP/ Cath lab dynamics, including workflows, key decision-makers, and hospital purchasing processes.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to engage in clinical conversations with electrophysiologists and cardiologists, presenting data-driven insights and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to identify and develop new account opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Ability to execute a territory business plan, leveraging market intelligence and competitive insights.
  • Skilled in the use of CRM tools (HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making
  • Skilled in negotiation and contract management with hospitals supporting GPO, and IDN contracts.
  • Strong ability to conduct product demonstrations, case support, and physician training within the EP lab.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, Stark Law, Sunshine Act)

Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Well-established relationships with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, EP lab staff, cath lab directors, and hospital administrators are preferred.
  • Strong collaboration with field clinical specialists (FCS), marketing, and sales management to optimize customer engagement.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced hospital settings.
  • Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally within a small organization.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to pass vendor credential requirements including the required vaccination, background check and drug testing requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Adherence to all Compliance and Code of Conduct policies
