OTI’s External Partnerships division is responsible for fostering and growing relationships with a broad range of city agencies, community-based organizations, and private sector entities to deepen engagement on critical initiatives. Working cross divisionally, the External Partnerships division is focused on advancing the City’s broader digital equity and inclusion goals. In support of those goals, the division oversees the Connected Communities program. Connected Communities is a long-term digital inclusion initiative that supports digital literacy and employment resources in historically underserved areas for thousands of New Yorkers each year.
The External Partnerships division has an opportunity for a Digital Equity Analyst to support efforts to ensure that New Yorkers have the connectivity, resources, and skills they need to successfully participate in an increasingly digital world.
Reporting to the Chief Digital Equity Officer, primary esponsibilities will include:
- Support assessing digital equity needs, including through research, analysis, robust interagency and community engagement processes;
- Advance the oversight and expansion of OTI’s Connected Communities initiative;
- Perform research, planning, policy, program assessment, and administrative activities to develop and operate advanced grant applications;
- Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis of the agency’s annual public computer center inventory data collection efforts;
- Perform special projects and assignments, as required.
Hours/Shift
Day - Due to the necessary technical support duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.
