The Payment/Payroll Analyst will join a team which is dedicated to ensuring all staff are paid on time and correctly.
The Payment/Payroll Analyst plays a pivotal role in identifying errors, reporting errors to the proper unit, and ensuring corrections are made to the employee’s record. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Review Payroll reports in the Payroll Information system (PI) and the Report Management and Distribution System (RMDS) to ensure accurate bi-weekly payments to staff.
- Review Leave Status reports to process accurate payments to staff on extended leave.
- Compute managerial and non-managerial lump sum payments.
- Compute retro-active payments to staff as a result of title changes, salary adjustments or contractual general wage increases.
- Audit payments to staff, identifying overpayments, processing recoupment.
- Collaborate with various units such as Timekeeping, Employment Services and Recruitment.
- Assist with the batching and distribution of paychecks.
- Provide customer service to ACS employees by responding to payroll inquiries, researching questions, and bringing issues to resolution.
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
