Company Description

Clean Water Action is one of the original grassroots canvass organizations. Since 1972, we have been dedicated to building a movement of strong environmental leaders from the ground up. Our wide range of environmental and public health campaign priorities include water and air protections, environmental justice, sustainability, holding politicians and corporations accountable, and making democracy work.

Job Description

Clean Water Action is seeking passionate environmental activists to join our grassroots team and lead our future teams after completing a fast-track development and training program. A candidate who is offered this position begins as a Canvasser and becomes a Field Manager within the first four months of employment, with priority for new Field Canvass Director positions as we build back from the height of the COVID pandemic.

    • Personal motivation to make a difference
  • Preferred
    • Election or issue-based canvassing experience
    • 1 year of door-to-door fundraising experience
    • Experience working in public policy, non-profit advocacy or legislative office
