Finance Intern

CLEAR interns solve real-world problems within collaborative teams of the industry’s most innovative technologists to build some of the world’s most advanced services and devices. What you'll do:

• Tax Return Assistance: Gather necessary data for tax filings and support the preparation of schedules and reports required by external tax advisors.
• Indirect Tax Management: Assist with sales/use tax calculations to ensure ongoing compliance with various jurisdictions.
• Month-End Close: Help prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other close-related tasks to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Financial Statement Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors by gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to audit inquiries.
• Accounts Payable: Assist in processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring accurate data entry in the AP system.

Who You Are:

• Currently enrolled full-time as a student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, graduating between Spring 2025 and Spring 2026.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Adept at balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excited to make meaningful contributions to a dynamic and collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A proactive and collaborative team player eager to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you're great at:

• Applying foundational accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) to real-world scenarios.
• Navigating Excel and other financial systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Adapting quickly to changing priorities and tackling challenges with a positive attitude

The hourly pay for this role is $25 per hour.
