Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our products by blending user-centered design principles with cutting-edge technology. As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing specialists, to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that enhance the user experience. Your expertise will be crucial in driving design strategies that align with our business goals while also addressing the needs of our diverse user base.

• User Research & Discovery: Gather insights through interviews, surveys, and analytics to understand user needs and inform design decisions.

• Conceptualization & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with business goals and user feedback.
• UI & Visual Design: Craft polished, brand-consistent user interfaces, paying close attention to layout, typography, and overall aesthetics.
• Collaboration & Alignment: Work with cross-functional teams—product managers, engineers, and marketing—to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and on-brand.
• Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct user testing and leverage data to refine designs, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with user expectations.
• Design Systems & Process: Establish and maintain design standards, components, and guidelines to promote consistency and efficiency across products.

• Professional Background: At least 5+ years of experience in UX/product design ideally with both startup and large enterprise environments; Strong skills in designing flows, wireframes, and information architectures; Experience working with technical teams on structured digital products.
• Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing product design solutions that demonstrate your technical proficiency, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite; Understanding of HTML/CSS and frontend development principles.
• Research & Testing: Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing; Empathy for end users, ensuring design choices improve usability and delight.
• Problem Solver & Team Player: Eagerness to tackle complex challenges in a collaborative environment; Comfortable designing within complex systems and managing interdependencies; Skilled at translating complex requirements into simple, intuitive user flows.
• Education & Growth: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field preferred; Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new approaches and skills, and adapt to evolving requirements.

• Competitive Salary + Equity: $150,000 – $250,000 DOE, plus equity in a fast-growing AI startup.
