We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Client Success to lead and scale our client engagement and pre-sale operations. This role will report directly to the President and oversee both the Sr. Director of Client Success and the Director, Sales Planning, ensuring seamless client experiences from pre-sale through long-term partnership growth. The VP, Client Success will play a critical role in maintaining and expanding relationships with high-level, strategic clients while driving revenue growth and retention.
This leader must have deep AdTech and Programmatic expertise, exceptional client management skills, and a passion for driving results through innovation and collaboration.
This position will be located in New York, NY with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote optional (Thursday/Friday).
Core Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
● Lead, mentor, and develop the Client Success and Sales Planning teams to ensure high performance and professional growth.
● Establish and execute a strategic vision for Client Success and Sales Planning, aligning with company objectives.
● Drive collaboration across departments (Sales, Product, Marketing, and Data Science) to enhance client outcomes and campaign success.
Client Engagement & Industry Leadership
● Serve as a key executive sponsor for high-profile clients, building and strengthening senior-level relationships.
● Represent the company at industry conferences, speaking engagements, and thought leadership events.
● Stay ahead of AdTech and Programmatic trends, providing strategic insights internally and externally.
Client Success & Retention
● Own client satisfaction and retention, ensuring long-term success and revenue growth.
● Develop and implement best-in-class account management strategies, including proactive performance reviews and optimization recommendations.
●Partner with key clients to understand their evolving needs and align our solutions to their business objectives.
Pre-Sale & Sales Planning
● Oversee the Sales Planning team, ensuring compelling and strategic RFP responses that drive new business opportunities.
● Work closely with Sales leadership to develop winning pre-sale strategies and pricing recommendations.
● Drive efficiency in the pre-sale process through technology, insights, and streamlined workflows.
Requirements
● 10+ years of experience in AdTech, Programmatic Advertising, or Digital Media, with a strong background in Client Success and/or Sales Strategy.
● Proven experience managing and growing high-performing teams.
● Strong understanding of the RFP process, media planning, and ad operations.
● Exceptional relationship-building skills with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
● Experience representing companies at industry events and speaking engagements.
● Data-driven mindset with an ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Salary
● $220,000-$280,000 Base Salary + Equity
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.
