What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an MSP environment
- End-user device troubleshooting
- Experience supporting the Office 365 suite
- File Share, OneDrive, SharePoint, Entra/AD user administration
- Experience with Windows Server, Azure, virtualization, and backup environments
- Experience supporting UC tools such as Teams Calling, 3CX, 8x8, etc.
- Experience with remote working tools such as RDS, AVD, Citrix, VPNs, etc.
- Experience in working in a security-conscious environment, using security tools such as SentinelOne, Proofpoint, CrowdStrike, etc.
- Experience with networking technology such as routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, internet connectivity, etc.
- Technologies: SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, Traditional Routing/Switching (BGP/OSPF, etc.), Security/Firewalling/IDR (Incident Detection and Response)/SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
Nice to Have:
- Preferred tools – FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Aruba Central, Meraki, NCentral N-Able
- Preferred vendor experience – Cisco, Fortinet, Zscaler, HP Aruba, Darktrace, ThreatLocker
- Relevant industry certifications - Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Fortinet (FCP/FCSS), CompTIA Security+, etc.
What will you do?
- Manage the incoming flow of workby prioritizing and managing your ticket queue and serve as the Level 3 escalation point for network and network security tickets by demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting
- Maintain customer networks with a multivendor infrastructure, proactively enhancing network performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Own tickets through to resolution and escalating to other teams or vendors when required.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure satisfactory resolution of tickets.
