Paralegal - Estate Planning (US Law Firm, WFH) - job 1 of 2

Salary: P60,000 - 80,000 (Monthly Gross Package)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Experienced in drafting Estate Planning Documents
• Experienced in preparations of Wills and Trust
• Conducts relevant legal issues, statutes and regulations to support attorneys in their case preparation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• JD is highly preferred.

Nice to have:

• Knowledgeable in Legal Software tools such as Clio is a plus

What will you do?

• Client Interaction:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case progress, answering inquiries, and maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor when working with individuals and families.
• Drafting Documents:

• Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents, ensuring they comply with relevant laws and regulations.

• Estate Planning:

• Collaborate with attorneys to assess clients' estate planning needs and provide recommendations, including the establishment of trusts, asset protection strategies, and healthcare directives.

• Legal Research:

• Conduct research on relevant legal issues, statutes, and regulations to support the attorneys in case preparation and strategy.

• Record Maintenance:

• Maintain organized and accurate client records, ensuring all documents and communication are properly documented and easily accessible.

• Scheduling and Calendar Management:

• Manage attorney schedules, including court dates, client meetings, and deadlines, to ensure efficient time management and case progression.

• Notary Services:

• Act as a notary public to notarize legal documents as required.
