Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required:- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least twelve (12) years of related experience.
- Must have in‐depth experience in several of the following areas: system architecture, design and development, requirements analysis, data flow design/analysis, network design/implementation, testing, technical system documentation.
- Must have substantial experience with data centers and/or server rooms, to include: Rack based Servers, Network Switches, KVM's, Routers, Backup and Recovery devices, Firewalls, and security appliances.
- Must have experience with typical data center related software such as Virtualization platforms, Microsoft/Linux server management, Network Switch and Firewall client applications, antivirus, and backup and recovery software.
- Must have at least seven (07) years of experience with infrastructure components ﴾Servers, Switches, Firewalls, and other Enterprise Infrastructure hardware﴿.
- Must have at least seven (07) years of experience working with network design or foundational networking.
- Must have at least seven (07) years of experience working on system architecture design, building, and integration.
- Must have at least five (05) years of experience as a Senior Architect working on large complex system architectures.
- Must have at least (05) years of hands‐on experience building and maintaining Windows and Linux systems ﴾not Help Desk/ticket experience﴿.
- Must have requirements verification traceability experience.
- Must have experience analyzing user requirements, system architecture, and/or system requirements specifications.
- Must have experience in discovery, research and analysis for hardware and software transitions.
- Must have experience gathering information related to the lifecycle of equipment and software.
- Must possess a solid understanding of secure systems engineering and development.
- Must be comfortable working on multiple systems and components simultaneously in various configurations.
- Must be able to effectively plan and prioritize tasking and communicate clearly regarding technical options and trade‐offs.
- Must be capable of performing systems engineering activities in support of Agile teams on a large program.
- Must be committed to adopting, adhering to, and championing best practices.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:- In‐depth experience transitioning legacy systems to new architectures.
- Experience with model‐based systems engineering.
- Experience with risk management/risk register.
- Hands‐on experience maintaining hardware and software and/or tracking hardware assets and/or software licenses.
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework ﴾SAFe﴿ methodology or as a member of an Agile team.
- Experience working as an admin on Windows Server and Linux Server platforms.
$125,000 - $275,000 a year
The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
