Job Description

CRD Careers has partnered with a leader in the building materials industry to find a results-driven Sales Representative to drive growth for the Signal Wire product line. If you have experience selling in the telecom space and a passion for building relationships, driving brand awareness, and exceeding sales targets, this role could be an ideal fit.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Execute and exceed sales targets within your defined territory.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies with a thorough SWOT analysis to identify opportunities and drive growth.

  • Identify and execute account conversion opportunities to drive sales and EBITDA impact.

  • Promote brand awareness by attending trade shows, speaking engagements, and providing technical articles.

  • Build strong relationships with inspectors (AHJs), distributors, and key trade communities.

  • Collaborate with manufacturers, trade representatives, and internal teams to drive product adoption and awareness.

  • Provide insights and updates to the Executive team on initiatives and progress through detailed reporting.

  • Support marketing efforts, including regional plans, presentations, and technical content.

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the telecom space (selling signal conductors like coaxial cables, tracer wire, or related products).
  • High School Diploma required 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.

  • Willingness and ability to travel 40%+ (mileage reimbursement provided; flights prepaid).

  • Experience selling or purchasing wire products is strongly preferred.

  • Competitive base salary ($90,000 - $130,000) plus uncapped commission.
