Tax Analyst

The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes

• Prepare corporate income tax returns and GST/VAT returns
• Maintain tax administration tools such as cash tax trackers and professional fee budget trackers with a high level of accuracy
• Prepare and input tax and transfer pricing journal entries into the enterprise accounting system
• Liaise with local and overseas colleagues and external tax services providers with regard to tax filings, tax projects and handling tax queries
• Keep abreast of rules and regulations on tax across different jurisdictions and understand their implications on the group
• Conduct research into crypto/corporate tax/indirect tax/TP topics independently or/and with third-party
• Other ad hoc tasks as requested

• B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance, economics, business required; advanced degrees, including CPA a plus
• Ideally 3+ years professional work experience in accounting and tax; Transfer Pricing and crypto tax experience a plus
• Strong Excel skills with proficient knowledge of pivottables and data manipulation Excel functions
• Possess experience or exposure in HK corporate taxes or international tax
• Possess experience working with stakeholders and colleagues overseas
• Able to understand tax issues in precise and simple languages
• Excellent analytical, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Extremely detail oriented with an ability to multitask in a high growth environment
• Passionate about start-ups and the growth of digital assets and has a desire to commit a long-term career in the industry
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Good to have crypto knowledge
• Always have a positive working attitude and willing to take on tasks
