The company is a reseller of national brand-name cabinetry, as well as a manufacturer of in-house cabinetry and counter tops. With over 1,000 projects completed yearly, we know that meeting complex, changing customer demands in multiple markets is no simple task!
As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our operation’s success. This role requires strategic leadership, understanding of the construction industry , and a passion for delivering on customer’s needs. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, manage financial performance, and lead a high-performing team.
What you get to do every day: - Financial & Sales Leadership: Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) to achieve financial goals. Drive top-line sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in terms of new clients and new markets, building long-term client relationships, and assisting employees to achieve sales targets
- Operational Management: Lead day-to-day operations, including staffing, recruiting, and resource allocation, all while managing operational costs.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team. Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented culture based on Teamwork and Integrity while achieving results.
- Project Management: Work with the Project Management team to oversee project timelines, costs, and deliverables. Monitor project schedules and make adjustments as needed to ensure flawless execution.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Use quantitative insights to drive operational and financial improvements.
- Market Awareness & Strategy: Stay informed of market trends and competitors, and adjust company offerings accordingly. Communicate our value proposition to differentiate the company.
- Client Engagement: Provide expert consultation in client & vendor escalations. Act as a liaison between vendors and customers to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Flexibility: Adapt to varied schedules and environments, including client worksites.

- 3+ years of experience managing a team in, construction related businesses, or other relevant industries (e.g. home services, home building, etc.).
- Demonstrated expertise in growing sales and client retention.
- Financial acumen with hands-on experience managing to KPI targets, budgets, and financial statements.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and technology in general.
