We are looking for a Business Data Migration expert for Manufacturing on the LDC ERP program, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data in line with global, deployment, and country-specific requirements, leading data migration activities at the deployment level for key manufacturing data objects—including Material Master, BOMs, Routings, and Production Versions—and acting as the functional single point of contact (SPoC) for the assigned objects within each release. ! This role lasts initially until the end of March 2026 with expected extension, where only a freelance is available as form of cooperation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Ensure timely completion of data cleansing activities.
• Collect data for manual and construction-related objects within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with IT counterparts to prepare and validate value mappings.
• Create and maintain master data lists for assigned objects, where applicable.
• Provide business context and relevant information to technical teams to support data extraction and conversion from legacy systems for assigned objects.
• Work closely with IT teams and Country Business Data Owners to identify the data objects in scope for each country.
• Oversee data readiness and continuously verify data quality throughout the data lifecycle for assigned objects.
• Ensure data is fit for purpose and aligned with both internal and external stakeholder requirements.
• Review and formally approve data upload files before and after loading for all assigned objects.
• Perform manual data entry into target systems for applicable objects, when required.
• Carry out dual maintenance of data as necessary.
• Execute and approve data verification scripts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for assigned objects during the defect management process throughout Hypercare.
• 5+ years of experience in both country-specific and global roles, with a preference for SAP project implementation experience.
• Proven ability to execute data cleansing and data loads for relevant data objects, in line with the established data migration schedule for regional projects.
• Demonstrated capability to resolve major data quality issues for relevant data objects in accordance with defined project timelines.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across both business and technical teams.
• A strategic yet hands-on approach to work, with experience in running meetings, tracking progress, and independently managing issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze complex datasets.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP, specifically in the areas of Material Management, Supply Chain, and Quality, with good visibility into Production Planning processes. • Data migration experience is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred, reflecting a strong academic foundation.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
