The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the digital strategy and content execution across Dairy MAX’s brands. This role ensures a cohesive digital presence through owned and paid media. The Manager collaborates across teams to develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and action.
The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee a Media Manager, ensuring paid media efforts are optimized for engagement, reach, and efficiency.
Content Strategy and Development
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive omni-channel content strategy that aligns with organizational and federation priorities, ensuring consistency in brand standards and audience engagement.
- Generate innovative content ideas that drive sustained behavior change, ensuring dairy remains relevant to consumers as part of their daily nutrition and lifestyle choices.
Digital Marketing and Paid Media Management
- Lead digital marketing efforts across paid and owned media, working closely with the Media Manager on advertising campaigns that support overall goals and maximize ROAS. This includes owning paid advertising budgets for assigned brands.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, ad formats, and emerging technologies to enhance paid media strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
Optimization and SEO Strategy
- Oversee digital marketing optimizations including A/B testing and audience segmentation to refine messaging and improve targeting precision and SEO best practices, including keyword research and metadata optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align digital marketing efforts with broader education and dairy consumption strategies.
Community Management and Engagement
- Actively manage and engage with social media communities by responding to inquiries, fostering conversations, and recognizing key contributors.
Performance Tracking and Analytics
- Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance using KPIs such as engagement, reach, and consumer sentiment. Partner with the Marketing Analytics Manager to refine messaging and optimize media strategy.
Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors:
- Experience: 3+ years in a digital marketing role, content marketing, or role, with experience leading projects or teams.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling copy and present ideas effectively to stakeholders.
- Social Media Management: Proven ability to manage social media channels effectively to achieve business goals.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to manage and oversee a Media Manager, ensuring alignment between content strategy and media execution.
- Paid Media: Proficiency in overseeing ad buying across multiple channels, optimizing ad spend, budget management and performance reporting.
- Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in Google Analytics, social media insights, and campaign performance dashboards to track engagement and optimize campaigns.
- SEO & Content Strategy: Experience with audience segmentation, keyword research, and content development / optimization for digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology and behavioral marketing principles to influence dairy consumption habits.
