Senior Quality Control Engineer

As the Senior Quality Control Engineer, you will lead the QA function across Edelman’s entire trust product portfolio and offerings. You will establish and elevate quality assurance standards and processes, manage a Junior QA Engineer, and drive quality across diverse AI-driven solutions. This is a leadership role requiring a hands-on approach to implementing advanced QA methodologies, ensuring our AI and data-driven solutions maintain their competitive edge.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and own the QA function, driving the strategy, execution, and evolution of quality assurance processes for Edelman’s trust product portfolio.
  • Supervise and mentor the Junior Quality Control Engineer, ensuring alignment with team goals and professional development.
  • Design and implement advanced QA frameworks for validating AI models, optimizing prompts, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all trust offerings.
  • Establish and document QA standards, best practices, and processes, fostering a culture of quality across the trust product portfolio.
  • Conduct detailed AI model validation to assess accuracy, fairness, and compliance with performance metrics for products within the trust ecosystem.
  • Develop and oversee automated testing pipelines, integrating them into the CI/CD workflow for seamless product deployments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define testing requirements and quality benchmarks for trust offerings.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports on QA metrics, test outcomes, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the quality advocate within the team, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to enhance product performance and trust reliability.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in AI, data analysis, and QA methodologies to keep Edelman at the forefront of innovation.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, data analysis, or related roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in QA methodologies, automated testing tools, and AI/ML validation techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proven ability to establish and scale QA processes within a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing direct reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.


€60,000 - €75,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
