Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and creative website designer experienced in producing high-quality responsive websites. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design aesthetics, strong proficiency in Figma for web design, and enthusiasm for exploring and adopting the latest advancements in AI technology.

AI Tools & Technologies: At Dean Garland, we actively utilize cutting-edge AI tools and platforms to enhance our workflow and deliver superior results. Currently, our tech stack includes ChatGPT Pro, Sora, Lovable, Cursor, Midjourney, Runway ML, Airtable, Supabase, Zapier and more. Familiarity or willingness to engage with these and other emerging AI-driven design, development, and database tools is highly desirable. As these platforms evolve, we expect our team to proactively adapt and explore new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop (development support available) visually appealing and conversion-focused WordPress websites.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to translate client requirements and project objectives into compelling web solutions.
• Create and refine design prototypes using Figma, ensuring seamless transition from concept to implementation.
• Implement best practices for web performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO.
• Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and proactively integrate AI-driven tools and workflows.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and actively participate in feedback sessions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in WordPress website development
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design skills, creativity, and Figma proficiency.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards.
• Experience integrating third-party tools, plugins, and APIs.
• Passionate about technology and proactive in learning and experimenting with new tools, especially AI.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative team player attitude.

Compensation: Hourly-based rate, commensurate with experience, with clear potential for full-time permanent employment and additional benefits for the right candidate.
