Digital Marketing Manager

This job is available to work in one of our hub locations: CA (Bay area) or Austin, TX and will be hybrid.

We are seeking an innovative, creative, and passionate Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital advertising and account based marketing efforts. The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee and manage Deepwatch SEM programs, media planning, and paid social marketing initiatives. You will manage the agencies, oversee online advertising programs and continually improve upon the return on investment for each initiative. This is an opportunity to work with a collaborative and fun team, gain a broad perspective, and make an impact in a high-growth company and an exciting corner of the cybersecurity space.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, well-organized, have strong communication skills, possess a passion and curiosity for digital marketing and media, a quick learner and a consummate multi-tasker. Successful candidates will have a history of creating compelling content, a deep understanding of digital marketing platforms and trends, and a strong sense of what works. 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Develop, create and optimize Deepwatch’s paid search programs.
  • Lead the global strategy and execution of SEM. 
  • Manage campaigns for display, remarketing, search and paid social promotions
  • Create strategy, implement, track, analyze and optimize paid campaigns across Google AdWords, Display, Facebook, Bing, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms
  • Develop and manage the day-to-day execution of the digital marketing plan, with a focus on incremental return on ad spend and new customer acquisition
  • Conduct keyword discovery, testing, and optimization; build and execute keyword expansions to drive accelerated program growth
  • Measure, report and act on the performance of digital marketing efforts and campaigns
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to improve campaign response/marketing ROI
  • Provide performance analysis and make spend shift / optimization recommendations across all channels
  • Champion best practices regarding the measurement of ad effectiveness, especially as it relates to marketing effectiveness and multi-channel campaign optimization
  • Identify and initiate new campaigns based on analysis of past performance
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and manage external agencies and vendors
  • Cross-functional collaboration with various internal teams, including product marketing, marcom/branding, PR, and external agencies – ensure full sales and marketing alignment
  • Work with digital marketing agency to optimize and expand upon existing campaigns
  • Work with internal creative team to design ads used for display marketing
  • Budget development, management, and adherence
  • Build campaign automation; develop appropriate workflows, forms, and other
  • automation, in support of the marketing team’s goals and objectives
  • Provide analytics, reporting, and drive insight. Develop marketing dashboards and
  • reports to track KPIs and measure program ROI.
  • Build and implement automation for processing and passing leads to the sales
  • development representatives (SDRs) and channel partner team
  • Refine lead scoring and account scoring
  • Collaborate on and optimize drip campaigns, nurture flows and  automation rules in Pardot
  • Manage data integrity and data compliance
  • Work with Salesforce admins to ensure data is flowing consistently and accurately and
  • to ensure data governance.
  • Research and suggest new tools and solutions to better manage data and processes

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Have expertise in adwords, bid management tools, Google Analytics, Facebook and other social media platforms.
  • Be experienced in managing digital campaigns to acquire and engage users throughout the funnel
  • Have successfully managed agencies
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and proven implementation of analytics best practices
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing rigorous test and control programs
  • Understand the interplay between online/social and traditional channels
  • Demonstrated success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action
  • Have excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to drive the evolution of a program through the application of data insights
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to distill complex ideas into easily understandable stories
  • Be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong eye for creating high-caliber digital content
  • Solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment; take initiative to achieve results; meet short deadlines; and maintain a positive attitude


The anticipated salary range for this role is $151,500 - $168,500 OTE + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
