Activity Security Representative I - 557169

The Activity Security Representative (ASR) I will provide comprehensive, multi-disciplined security support to a customer facility and organization. This position supports the daily operations of Collateral, SCI, and Special Access Program (SAP) security activities, ensuring compliance with policies and safeguarding sensitive information. The ASR will serve as a key contributor to maintaining secure environments and processes, offering both technical and administrative assistance in various classified programs and activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative & Document Control Support

• Perform destruction of classified materials and process magnetic media for accountability.
• Maintain daily administrative logs related to document control.
• Assist in processing inbound and outbound data transfer files and classified mail.
• Maintain personnel security files for all supported personnel.
• Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.

2. Access & Visitor Management

• Research, process, file, and maintain inbound/outbound visit notices.
• Escort facility visitors and maintain visitor logs.
• Conduct entry and exit inspections in accordance with site security standards.
• Assist with facility access badge preparation.

3. Security Policy Enforcement & Education

• Follow and enforce all customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support the execution of security awareness and education programs.
• Perform other administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead or Senior Security Representative.

4. Personnel Security & Clearance Management

• Track and monitor clearance processing activities in coordination with government personnel.
• Prepare and process classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and Program Access Requests (PARs).
• Execute SAP Nomination Process Questionnaires.
• Conduct data entry and records maintenance in JADE, DISS, and SAPNP.
• Maintain accurate personnel access records for all customer-sponsored personnel.

5. AV/VTC & Conference Room Support

• Provide support to conference room users and assist during events or meetings.
• Offer Tier 1 audiovisual and VTC support, including routine issue resolution.
• Support the VTC manager in bridge scheduling and connectivity.
• Maintain and communicate VTC/conference room schedules.
• Troubleshoot VTC, network, and encryption devices as needed.
• Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., DISA) to resolve network service issues.

6. Facility Access & Response

• Authorized to work unaccompanied in WPAFB, Area B, Building 45, per AFRL/RS security manager approval.
• Respond to after-hours alarms in AFRL/RS managed facilities (Building 45) while ensuring all security protocols are followed.

• Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Must be able to initiate Tier 5 Investigation within 30 days of starting.
• Ability to work independently and respond to security-related incidents as needed.
