Deliverect processes millions of orders every day, most of which is hot food that better not get cold. We deal with the data and revenue streams of thousands of our customers around the world every second. We integrate hundreds of systems with thousands of third parties with dozens of our own products. That’s quite the scale, and we need quite the team to help keep the lights on.

That’s the sole, straightforward mission of the QA role at Deliverect.

• Working alongside several development teams to make sure their output meets quality standards. This means:
• Keeping an overview of their work.
• Keeping them honest to quality gates. Defining and maintaining these according to varying product lifecycles.
• Working with them and other product stakeholders on how to test and roll-out new features.
• Acceptance-testing (some of) their output.
• Owning releases and deployments. This involves, amongst others:
• Having a solid understanding of version control (git) and CI pipelines (Github actions).
• Being able to script workflows.
• Monitoring the health of deployments alongside developers.
• Managing stakeholder expectations and making decisions under pressure.
• Writing and maintaining automated tests across our testing projects.
• Python (Pytest, Locust) for system and performance tests.
• Typescript (Playwright, WebdriverIO) for browser/mobile automation.
• Coming up with initiatives across any domain to guarantee and improve quality for our customers. Examples could be:
• Improving observability and monitoring of our systems.
• Improving documentation on guidelines, best practices, requirements for developers.
• Implementing AI for test automation and maintenance (enabling us to do more fun stuff).
• Educating the support team on practical debugging techniques.
• …anything really. As long as it makes sense, you get the freedom to make things happen.

• Someone with good experience in most points above.
• An owner. Someone who sees what needs to happen next, and gets it done.
• An excellent communicator. You can describe situations, providing just the right amount of information to stakeholders.
• Curious. Eagle-eyed. Someone people may think has OCD (joke).
• A meme connoisseur (no joke).
