Finance Transformation Consulting Trainee

We are now looking for a Trainee to join our Finance Transformation consulting team! In this team, we strive towards clients’ operational excellence and high-quality deliverables in our engagements through collaborative culture and stewardship. Come and join our practice and help us to support some of our largest corporate and public sector clients in Finland in their finance transformation journeys! 
 
We advise CFOs in their decision making and support our clients from various industries in a variety of finance transformation agendas. Typical examples of our projects cover: developing finance strategy, designing finance operating model, leaning finance processes, developing and adopting cutting edge finance technologies (e.g.  S/4HANA, Anaplan, Basware), designing business steering model and data structures.

As a Trainee you will learn about diverse aspects of finance function and the leading practices to develop it. Our key priority is to engage you directly in client projects! Other trainee tasks can include e.g. assisting us in Deloitte surveys and discussion papers: you get to help with data gathering, analysis (such as KPI-metrics) and in visualizing the data in presentations. Your tasks may also include helping with our client projects, for example preparing client materials and proposals. As a Trainee you are a valued part of our team, and we are interested to hear what kind of strengths you have. 

We are looking for a Trainee who is interested in the broad domain of finance transformation from strategy to implementation. As the majority of current and future transformations are technology enabled, interest in finance technologies and their implementations is seen as an asset. 

 Your full time Trainee period will last four months, starting in August 2025. We hope that you are interested in continuing working with us also after your Trainee period. 
 
We can promise your learning curve at Deloitte will be steep, but you will also get active support from your own coach and the broader team. We want to offer our professionals flexible working conditions and thus, we work in a hybrid model. This means that we work at our cozy office at Ruoholahti, at our clients and flexibly also remotely.

Then you’d probably fit well in our team! We are looking for an analytical and proactive person, who enjoys setting goals and reaching them. To succeed with us, we also wish you have: 

• A recent master’s degree or ongoing master studies (e.g., in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Management or Engineering) 

• Fluent written and oral skills in English, preferably also in Finnish 

• Great MS Office suite skills, especially Excel and Power Point
