The Role
We are looking for a People & Talent Specialist to support our HR operations, recruitment efforts, and employee engagement initiatives. This is a part-time role (20 to 25 hours a week), and the successful candidate must be based in Singapore.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and passionate about building strong people experiences within a dynamic and distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
- Ensure a smooth, professional, and engaging candidate experience
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and execute engagement initiatives such as feedback surveys, wellness activities, and team events
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist in fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
- Monitor employee sentiment and recommend initiatives to enhance engagement and communication
People Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR documentation
- Assist with performance review processes and HR reporting
- Support learning and development activities
- Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore’s labor laws and relevant employment regulations (in collaboration with external partners when necessary)
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or employee engagement roles
- Must be based in Singapore with a solid understanding of local employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- High standard of work, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to professionalism
- A self-starter who follows through reliably without requiring constant supervision
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using different platforms and tools independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in a distributed or multicultural team environment is a plus
- Experience working in a tech company is a plus
