Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

The Junior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the analysis, creation and execution of functional and non functional testing in all phases of testing. The role is also responsible for creation of test cases and involved in the analysis and supporting in the execution of feature testing. Involved in the review of requirement changes. Other responsibilities are coordination of activities within the test phase.

Please note that Digital Turbine is a hybrid work environment-only candidates local to the specified office locations will be considered.

• Execute predefined manual test cases with guidance.
• Develop test cases for new features.
• Analyses and reports test activities and results.
• Identifies and reports issues and risks(defects).
• Involved in defining test conditions for given requirements.

• Participate in designs test cases and creates test scripts and supporting data, working to the specifications provided.
• Assist in writing test scripts or test automation.
• Report and analyze any automation failures, and learn to maintain and stabilize basic automation tests.
• Participation in team meetings and discussions, communicating issues to the team, and seeking feedback on test findings. 
• Engaging with the developers to build a partnership to release a quality product. 
• Starting to take ownership of assigned tasks, seeking feedback, and showing initiative in learning tools and processes.

• 1 year of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Java, Kotlin, or Typescript previous experience with automation or relevant coding history.
