What makes this role exciting?
We are seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Senior Expansion Analyst to join our Global Expansion team. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Expansion, who leads growth initiatives across our footprint, you will play a pivotal role in building and executing Expansion strategy for Docplanner. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data to uncover opportunities in cross-selling, upselling, product portfolio enhancement, package design, pricing optimization, and other levers to unlock value from our existing customer base. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data and strategy, driving insight through analysis to then align and execute in a scale-up environment.
In this role, you are contributing by...
Independently leading data analytics and modeling with a special focus on MRR increase from current customer base:
Data queries and solid understanding of data management topics (SQL, BI tools)
Business/financial modeling (business analysis, forecasting, budget simulations)
Machine learning application (prediction models, clustering, decision trees etc.)
Supporting the execution of key strategic projects do drive cross-sell/upsell/pricing & packaging initiatives across our footprint, working hand in hand with local expansion teams:
Liaise with in-market stakeholders to present insights from your analyses and come up with actionable recommendations (e.g., optimizing processes, fixing pricing of an expansion product, proposing product modifications, modifying package design)
Overall project management for selected initiatives in the expansion portfolio (align on project scope and plan,, monitor execution, resolve issues etc.)
Co-design, run and scale experiments in cross-sell/upsell/pricing & packaging from one market into global projects
Supporting the design and constant optimization of the global Expansion organization within the Customer function, through:
Productivity (product automations, operations effort optimisation and capacity utilisation)
Best practices (cross-market sharing, external expertise/benchmarks)
Insights (data analysis, research projects, experimentation)
How do we define success in this position:
Delivery of data analyses based on agreed scope - timely, with attention to detail, factoring in stakeholders’ inputs and business context
Successful execution of projects/initiatives based on insights derived from data analysis (focused on MRR growth)
In this role, you’re working super closely with - and reporting directly to Maciej, our Global Head of Expansion, within a broader Customer organization led by our CCO Konrad. You will also have high exposure to other senior stakeholders across the organisation, including country CEOs and global leadership.
This role is remote first, but you will be able to work from any of our global offices (e.g., Warsaw, Barcelona, Mexico City, Curitiba, Rome).
What makes you a great fit?
You have 3-6 years of professional experience
You're fluent in English (any other languages - e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, Polish etc. - is a plus!)
Ideally, a Business, Data Science, Statistics, Math/Physics, Finance or other quantitatively oriented educational background with solid business fundamentals
Technical expertise in working with large data sets:
knowledge of Tableau / Power BI / other BI tools - ability to edit/create dashboards
knowledge of SQL and experience in working with databases - e.g. from prior BI experience
desirable but not mandatory - knowledge and passion for data science (Python modeling experience; knowledge of the key data science algorithms: clustering, regression, decision trees, x-gradient boost, etc.)
Prior experience working in SaaS and/or marketplace business model (either as operator in consulting / investing capacity) - experience in start-up/scale-up environment and passion for technology or healthcare is a plus
Prior experience in business analysis and modelling will be a plus (financial models, forecasting, business performance measurement etc.)
Ability to package insights and communicate with stakeholders / lead working sessions with larger teams
Desirable proven experience in designing and implementing advanced analytics (data preparation, feature engineering, sample management, model validation and productization)
Proven experience working with multicultural teams, demonstrated communication skills and ability to navigate within a complex organisation
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with go-to-market, operations, data engineering and product teams
The process (preliminary outline)
30 min intro call with Ainhoa (Global talent partner), followed by feedback from both sides regarding role fit :)
60 min interview with Maciej, our Global Head Expansion - your manager in this role (experience match + fit into the team)
Business exercise (a data-based problem solving task) incl. preparation time, followed by a 60 min presentation meeting with Maciej & Konrad to discuss your thoughts and findings
Optional additional interview with other senior leader from our Global CS Team
