POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Organizational Development Educator II plays a key role in driving employee engagement, leadership development, and a strong organizational culture. Building upon foundational responsibilities, this position includes advanced program development, facilitation, and mentorship of peers. The Educator II designs and leads complex initiatives focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB); leadership growth; and professional development. Acting as a subject matter expert and organizational resource, this role supports strategic goals and fosters continuous improvement.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of organizational development programs, including DEIB initiatives, leadership development, and organizational culture-building efforts.
  • Facilitate high-impact workshops, webinars, and professional development sessions for employees, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Coach and mentor junior educators to enhance their instructional design, facilitation, and program management skills.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align organizational development initiatives with business objectives and cultural priorities.
  • Oversee the use of the LMS, ensuring effective program delivery, tracking of training participation, and maintenance of compliance records.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create advanced training materials, curricula, and tools tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Analyze program outcomes and feedback, making data-driven recommendations to improve learning effectiveness and engagement.
  • Act as a change agent, supporting leadership in communicating and managing organizational changes.
  • Develop and execute initiatives, such as surveys and action plans, to foster employee engagement and cultural alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance organizational development practices and actively participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Represent DNWest in external communities and professional organizations through presentations, committees, and partnerships.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Understands and can articulate education programs as an operating system, tools, and culture.
  • Experience utilizing education and training techniques to successfully increase skills and drive improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and working within an education or training program.
  • Experience with instructional design.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal instruction or supervision.
  • Excellent communication, organization, meeting management, and presentation skills; this includes written and spoken communications with team members, donation partners, peers, and senior management.
  • Ability to effectively influence change without direct authority.
  • Basic understanding of organizational development principles, including DEIB, leadership development, and culture-building.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading organizational projects or programs that advanced employee skills and culture.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in organizational development, learning and development, or related roles.
  • Certification in APTD/CPTD, SHRM-CP/PHR, or related areas preferred.


$102,650 - $114,055 a year
