The goal of the Brand Partnerships team is to be the most trusted and sought after co-marketing partner for brands and properties by creating groundbreaking marketing initiatives that delivers value to our audiences (Customer, Merchant, Dasher); drives results; and puts DoorDash and its partners at the center of culture. 

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Associate Marketing Manager to lead the execution of highly engaging, innovative sports and entertainment events that fuel DoorDash’s growth locally, across the US.

In this role, you’ll foster relationships with our most-valued partners and activate local entertainment partnerships. You will create and execute integrated marketing campaigns and events designed to acquire customers, merchants, and grow the DoorDash brand in the US. These programs will help to accelerate customer acquisition and loyalty across all DoorDash audiences. This is an ideal role for a candidate who is looking to build a career in event and partnership marketing, from strategy to execution. The Brands Partnerships Team is lean and fast-moving, meaning you’ll have an immediate opportunity to take ownership and drive major impact on a rapidly-growing space within an exciting brand. You will report to the Senior Manager, Head of Brand Partnerships in our Brand Marketing organization.

  • Managing all sponsor deliverables, from planning and briefing through execution to recaps
  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams in Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Creative Studio and external partners and agencies to execute events and deliver exceptional on-site experiences
  • Supporting the local market sales teams in achieving their performance goals by fostering strong relationships with Operations and Local Merchant Partners

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5+ years of sports and/or event marketing experience and a proven track record in activation planning, on-site execution and post-event reporting
  • You’re a team player who can navigate across cross functional teams, identify key stakeholders, and can balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • You are adaptable and resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • You have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, tools, and processes
  • You think of yourself as a craftsperson pushing the envelope on quality, usually find yourself sweating over the lowest level of details and deeply care about elevating the overall experience.
  • You are willing to work nights and weekends as needed with travel up to 50% for live events

We expect this position to be filled by 6/6/2025.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

That's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package to all regular employees, which includes a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid time off and paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act) (for salaried roles: flexible vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year; for hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), 16 weeks of paid parental leave, a wellness benefit, and a commuter benefit match.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
