Inventory Specialist, 2nd Shift @ Bandon Dunes Golf Resort

Position Summary: As an Inventory Specialist on the 2nd shift, your primary role is to ensure the timely stocking of newly arrived inventory and accurately pick and stage orders with meticulous attention to detail. You'll deliver exceptional customer service, maintain a pristine and safe work environment, and effectively communicate with guests and colleagues. If you’re organized, reliable, and ready to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, we’d like to hear from you. This position will work Wednesday -Sunday, 7 pm-3:30 am.


About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, opened in the Summer of 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

What You'll Do:
  • Pick and Stage Orders: Efficiently pick and organize daily orders for timely fulfillment.
  • Stock Inventory: Place incoming products in designated locations and ensure proper rotation.
  • Communication: Maintain professional interactions with team members and external contacts via phone, email, and in person.
  • Paperwork Management: Accurately process required paperwork and keep logs up to date.
  • Warehouse Systems: Use our computerized system to track inventory and manage records.
  • Identify Issues: Record and report any defects or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
  • Support Warehouse Operations: Help with other warehouse tasks as necessary.


What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are required.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of analyzing issues, prioritizing tasks, and performing well under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance, and demeanor at all times.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Oregon driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company vehicle standards.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check as a condition of employment.
  • Drug Testing: Successful completion of a drug test is required.


Physical Requirements:
  • Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours.
  • Navigate stairs, step ladders, and ladders for up to 2 hours daily.
  • Occasionally lift to 70 lbs and regularly lift to 40 lbs.


Equipment Used:
  • Office machines such as personal computers, tablets, printers, copiers, calculators, telephones, and scanners are utilized. Ladders, pallet jacks, stackers, and hand carts will also be used.


Working Conditions:
  • Work hours may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and employees may be exposed to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
