DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.

We operate with respect, curiosity and open minds. The people who thrive here share our belief that it’s not just what we do that matters–it's how we do it. DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation and a willingness to challenge consensus.

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will provide strategic financial insights, complex data analysis, and support senior management in decision-making processes. You will lead financial reporting initiatives, develop robust financial models, and provide deep insights to drive business growth and efficiency. Additionally, you will play a key role in the implementation of the new firmwide ERP and carbon accounting systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial reports to depict firm performance, including desk scorecard performance.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly presentations for management to provide insights on key financial metrics and business performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies using a variety of advanced industry metrics.
  • Reconcile and organize data received from operations, treasury, accounting, strategy and technology departments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop, refine, and test new financial reports that enhance the company’s understanding of key performance indicators, communicating insights to senior leadership.
  • Support and participate in the implementation and integration of DRW’s new ERP system, ensuring seamless financial data migration and process alignment.
  • Drive the adoption and management of the new carbon accounting system, providing financial insights and ensuring compliance with environmental reporting standards.
  • Act as a key business partner by providing strategic support and addressing ad hoc requests with thorough financial insights.
  • Mentor and train junior financial analysts, enhancing team competency and effectiveness.

 What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis, finance, public accounting, and/or reporting experience required.
  • Strong financial and quantitative skills, with the ability to manage complex data sets and identify meaningful trends.
  • Proven ability to critically analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across departments. Prior management experience preferred.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented, a collaborative problem solver, and an effective team player who performs well under pressure.
  • A demonstrated eagerness to learn, contribute, and share knowledge within the organization.
  • Highly proficient in Excel; experience with SQL and Tableau preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set.
