POSITION SUMMARY

We seek an experienced, passionate, and resourceful SDET to join our teams. As an SDET, you will help us design and develop test automation to ensure product quality and improve users’ experience. This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement is possible. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications on frontend (web & mobile), backend, APIs, and databases.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of the mobile & web applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement with a data-driven and proactive approach to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and provide design, functionality, and usability feedback.
• Perform regression testing and ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Espresso, UIAutomation, and Playwrite
• Monitor application performance and provide insights for improvements.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing expertise to improve team efficiency and delivery cadence.
• Improve testing processes, techniques, and technologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience working with mobile testing
• Ability to define, design, develop & maintain test automation frameworks
• Experience using industry-standard mobile testing tools like UI Automation for iOS,  Espresso for Android and/or Playwrite for Web
• Author manual test cases based on product spec Figma UI Design and automate them as part of a feature delivery team
• Ability to identify and root cause Automation test and app failures
• Support weekly release regression of the app by automation and manual testing and providing sign-offs
• Ability to formulate test strategies, test methodologies, and best practices
• Experience coordinating/working with teams located in different timezones
• Knowledge of Product life cycle, release metrics, and goals. Understand the full lifecycle of Product development and release metrics.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required
