Responsibilities
- Guide clients in understanding and navigating the private money loan process.
- Thoroughly evaluate loan applications and supporting financial documentation.
- Conduct market research to stay informed regarding industry trends and competition.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with industry stakeholders such as clients, real estate agents, and investors.
- Develop, prepare, and present detailed loan proposals, terms, and conditions.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory frameworks related to private money lending.
- Engage in marketing initiatives and network within the industry to drive growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in mortgage lending, private money lending, or commercial loan origination.
- License: NMLS license is not required for this private lending role.
- Sales-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to identify leads, successfully close transactions, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Self-Motivated: Proven capability to work independently within a remote work environment while maintaining excellent organizational skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate financing, private lending practices, bridge loans, and investment property funding.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position operates on a 100% commission-based structure, offering substantial earning potential. Loan Officers receive:
- 50% commission split on company origination earnings for each transaction.
- Quarterly Bonus: Between $5,500 and $15,500 for exceeding loan volume benchmarks ($8M to $15M quarterly).
- Estimated Annual Earnings:
- If $8M is funded per quarter (~$32M/year): $180,000 – $220,000+.
- If $15M is funded per quarter (~$60M/year): $300,000 – $400,000+.
