We provide full-cycle litigation support, including comprehensive economic analysis and expert consulting services before, during, and after litigation. Are you ready to leverage what you are learning in school? Step into a career with purpose at Econ One. We are currently hiring Summer Analysts to join the Schafer Group (Healthcare Economics Practice) between June 2025 and August 2025.
As a Summer Analyst in the Schafer Group, you will work with a team of experienced economists, consultants, and senior analysts under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Schafer. Although our staff work remotely nationwide, the Schafer Group is a tight-knit team within Econ One that consults on projects related to economic analysis and econometrics for healthcare litigation and public policy.
Analysts in our group support experts testifying in antitrust, class action, and other commercial disputes about topics such as monopolization, price fixing, health care reimbursement, pharmaceutical pricing, and medical monitoring costs. Summer Analysts will develop a strong understanding of the structure and function of the healthcare industry, as well as the critical role that competition plays in it.
Analysts are involved in all aspects of the consulting engagement. They conduct research, perform statistical analyses, and substantiate their findings. They think critically, synthesize complex information into clear and precise thoughts for presentations and other deliverables, and communicate their results succinctly to drive projects forward.
