Job Description

The objective of this role is to enable action from insight. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring customers understand the value and practical application of Ecovadis-Ulula’s solutions and services, so that they can progress on their journey of continuous improvement within their supply chain.

This Solution Consultant role is part of Enablement and Solution Consulting team and will report into the Client Services team at Ulula, while also collaborating with and learning from other EcoVadis Solution Consultants. This role is fully dedicated to supporting sales, launch and deployment of EcoVadis-Ulula’s new solutions as well as solution enablement of internal teams.

The Candidate will act as a solution expert representing frontline & customers’ voice, providing regulatory knowledge in the domain of human and labour rights and solution expertise throughout the sales cycle and customer relationship by engaging customers in multiple ways, including understanding their challenges and needs and aligning them with new Ulula solutions. This transversal role is pivotal to the sales process and customer experience, requiring coordination with multiple colleagues across various teams, specifically Product/Solution Implementation,  Sales and Client Services team.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to understand, use, and explain technical solutions, a passion for critical thinking about human and labour rights in supply chains, awareness of latest human and labour rights regulations and trends globally, and be eager to learn in detail how Ulula solutions and services enable companies to tackle these challenges. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales: Support the Ulula and Ecovadis Sales in Pre-sales conversations on Ulula’s tools and act as subject matter expert. Developing and supporting the value proposition, creating processes and strategies to activate and harness partnerships  and solution materials, and assisting sales teams with in-depth solution expertise. It also includes engaging with prospects to gather requirements for future solution development and consulting regulatory experts within the solutions consulting team, if needed.
  • Post-Sales Journey: Focuses on creating and refining internal and customer-facing implementation materials for onboarding, adoption, and expansion. This includes accompanying initial customer onboardings, gathering feedback to improve implementation processes, and supporting the customer success team in implementing customers’ sustainable procurement, risk management and regulatory compliance tools/ programs.
  • Enablement and Frontline Representation: Involves monitoring key metrics like opportunities and customer onboarding progress, and representing client services team feedback to product and analytics workstreams to address issues and optimize processes.
  • Work with large clients to develop and deliver additional services when specific business and human rights expertise is required to support customer programs, with a particular focus on Ulula’s evolving reporting capabilities and regulatory due diligence support.
  • Provide feedback by relaying solution enhancements and future roadmap requirements to Product and Analytics and Client Services teams, acting as an advocate for prospect and customer needs to the business, intensifying issues quickly.

Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS and technology: development and/or enablement of technical solutions; product management experience is very welcomed
  • Demonstrable knowledge in Business and Human Rights or Ethical Trade with up-to-date knowledge of the supply chain regulatory landscape 
  • More than 5 years experience in a company as Sustainability / Responsible procurement professional. Has a background in business and Human Rights, International Development, or Sustainability. Familiarity with the auditing industry and international certification standards (i.e. BSCI, ETI, SA8000), industry associations (e.g.  Amfori), and sustainability entities (i.e. SEDEX, RSPO), or knowledge and experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility programs (esp. from the agriculture, international development, mining, oil & gas, infrastructure sectors) is an asset. 
  • Experience in delivering high quality training and demonstrating experience in processing complex information into a simple and easy to understand outcome.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral (presentation) and written. Fluency in English is mandatory and Spanish is a strong plus; other languages are considered an advantage.
  • Critical reasoning skills in order to identify problems and provide solutions quickly
  • Analytical, organized, detail-oriented, multitasking, and disciplined.
  • Adaptability is key: the ability to navigate a fast-growing organization and take a flexible approach in the dynamic, fast-moving field of human and labour rights regulations, ESG and sustainable procurement
  • Ability to work independently
