The National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS) in the Early Childhood Portfolio within the U.S. Division has an opening for a Senior Training and Technical Assistance Associate, reporting to the center’s Project Director. The NCHBHS is one of four Head Start national centers in the training and technical assistance (TTA) system of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start (OHS). The Center provides research-informed TTA that reflects current evidence and promotes best practices to strengthen professional development outcomes for staff and improve the health, behavioral health, and safety of children and families enrolled in Head Start and/or Early Head Start (HS/EHS) programs.
The Early Childhood Portfolio has a Full-Time opening for a Senior TTA Associate reporting to the Project Director. The role includes planning, developing, and delivering high-quality training and technical assistance on health and safety-related topics at the National level. The Senior TTA Associate provides professional development training and technical assistance, contributing further to the organization’s intellectual capital, and developing name recognition as a leader in the field; assignments have high visibility and large potential new business impact; they initiate and execute diverse, strategic, and high-impact projects, or are responsible for particular phases of a large, very complex project that provides an opportunity to impact the lives of thousands of Head Start staff and families.
The person in this position is expected to communicate clearly and courteously; to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, collaborators, co-workers, field sites, and funders; and to work respectfully with EDC colleagues. This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $75,000 to $92,000. Salary offers are made based on market analysis and internal equity.
