Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Overview:
Our client’s purpose is to help small businesses grow through in-person events. These festivals have a variety of local chocolate makers, coffee roasters, and other businesses that set up booths to sell to thousands of local attendees who come out to sample and shop from them. The purpose of our social media accounts is to highlight the vendors and promote the event, so this position is essential to the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and schedule 6–8 social media posts weekly for Instagram and Facebook using Canva
  • Follow a provided content schedule and design formula for two festival brands
  • Monitor and engage with partner/vendor social media accounts by commenting and sharing posts
  • Research, organize, and reach out to social media influencers to arrange giveaways and promotional collaborations
  • Monitor social media pages, responding to customer comments and DMs, hiding harmful or spam content—especially during festival week
  • Use Instagram and Facebook via Meta Business Suite to schedule and manage posts across accounts

Requirements:

  • Strong written and spoken English skills (must be able to proofread for grammar/spelling)
  • Experience designing social media posts using Canva
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite to manage and schedule posts
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Basic video editing skills to create short-form content (Reels, Stories, etc.)

Future Growth Opportunities:
In 2026, this role could expand in hours or grow into a full-time position as we add new festivals and initiatives. There may also be an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities such as email-based customer service.

Benefits:

  • Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
