The Field Operations Support Specialist serves as a key support role to the National Manager of Field Operations, focusing specifically on subcontractor crew development, communication, and field implementation. With fluency in Spanish required, this position acts as the primary liaison between the company and Spanish-speaking installation crews, ensuring proper onboarding, quality standards compliance, and ongoing development. This role requires extensive travel to conduct on-site support, facilitate communication, and assist with crew-related issues across all service areas.

REQUIRED: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Crew Training & Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for installation crews in Spanish and English
- Conduct hands-on field training sessions for proper installation techniques
- Create visual training materials specifically designed for crew learning
- Translate technical documents, training materials, and safety protocols into Spanish
- Lead certification training for crew members across all trade types
- Monitor and document training completion and compliance
Crew Onboarding & Communication:
- Serve as the primary interpreter for company communications with Spanish-speaking crews
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new crew members
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and quality standards clearly
- Act as a liaison between management and crews for issue resolution
- Maintain regular communication with crews to address concerns and gather feedback
- Translate critical communications between crews and management
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct field observations to ensure proper installation techniques
- Provide immediate feedback and correction to crews when needed
- Document compliance with quality standards
- Report quality issues to the National Manager of Field Operations
- Assist in developing corrective action plans for underperforming crews
- Train crews on quality expectations and manufacturer specifications
Field Support:
- Travel extensively (50%+ minimum) to all service territories
- Provide on-site assistance during complex installations
- Support emergency response situations when needed
- Assist with crew scheduling and logistical challenges
- Identify opportunities for crew efficiency improvements
- Document best practices and share across crews
Administrative Support:
- Maintain detailed records of crew certifications and training completion
- Track crew performance metrics and provide regular reports
- Document crew issues and resolution steps
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of crew assignments
- Support the customer service team with Spanish-language communications
- Generate training materials and reference documents
Additional duties as assigned
Education:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Training, Development, and/or Education
Experience:
- 7+ years in exterior construction
- 3+ years managing subcontractor relationships
- 3+ years managing customer service or field operations teams
- Proven experience in team development and leadership
- Strong background in roofing, siding, and window installations
- Experience managing repair operations
Skills:
- Strong team leadership and development abilities
