Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred.
Experience: Typically 8+ years of experience in tax, including experience in a leadership role within a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent tax designation is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of corporate tax, tax compliance, and accounting principles.
Expertise in domestic and international tax law.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other business units.
Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulations.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary - USD $175,000 to $185,000
