Job Summary:
The Laboratory Sales Associate will play a key role in driving the growth of test volumes for our research-focused diagnostic laboratory. Operating within regulatory guidelines, the role emphasizes building strategic relationships, collaborating with partners, and identifying opportunities to increase laboratory usage. This position requires a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the laboratory’s growth objectives without direct advertising of services.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration and Strategy:
Work closely with clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for utilizing the laboratory’s services.
Advocate for the laboratory’s role in advancing research and diagnostic excellence through education and professional engagement.
Volume Growth Initiatives:
Develop and implement strategies to drive test volume growth in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Identify opportunities for collaboration on research projects and institutional partnerships.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging needs within the research and diagnostics sectors.
Provide actionable insights to the Laboratory Manager to inform strategic decision-making.
Reporting and Administration:
Maintain detailed records of activities, partnerships, and growth metrics.
Prepare regular progress reports for the Laboratory Manager, highlighting successes and opportunities for improvement.
Education and Outreach:
Coordinate workshops, seminars, and presentations to highlight the laboratory's expertise and value to the research community.
Build trust and credibility by sharing technical knowledge and supporting stakeholders in achieving their research and diagnostic goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in relationship management, business development, or a related field, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or research.
Knowledge of laboratory operations, research processes, or diagnostic testing is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.

Work Environment:
