ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.

We are currently looking for a Business Application Analyst for Salesforce CRM, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining changes to our Salesforce CRM platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. They will be involved in cross-functional business projects involving Salesforce CRM.Be responsible for creating custom software applications on the Salesforce platform that meet business needs and integrate Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security and providing technical support whenever required.

What you will do:

  • Participate in analysis, requirements gathering, design, configuration, implementation, and testing of business application changes on the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and other relevant technologies. Prepare technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents.
  • Create and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other applications/systems using APIs and web services ensuring seamless integration and security.
  • Participate in cross-functional business projects involving Salesforce CRM, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Perform ticket classification and investigation under existing SLAs and proceed to resolution actions. Assess severity on incidents reported from Key Users to provide 1st level and 2nd level support for applications of his/her responsibility and escalates issues for 3rd level support to the Business Application Team Leader or vendors and then evaluate solutions provided.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the vendors that provide IT outsourcing support services for the applications in scope.
  • Evaluate technical proposals from vendors and provide recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities and propose application enhancements to better align with business needs.
  • Define release plans, conducts Readiness Assessments and executes deployment plans as part of the Release Management & Service Introduction procedure.

What you will need in order to succeed:

  • A BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant working experience in IS Business Analysis, Design and support in Business Applications, preferably in the Utilities, Services or Telecom sectors.
  • Have a proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce sales and service cloud and Salesforce marketing cloud.
  • Have experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flow, Process Builder).
  • Certifications in areas as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform Developer I are an asset.
  • Familiarity of APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration best practices.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with reporting and dashboard tools within Salesforce.
  • Prior experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA for issue tracking and resolution is a plus.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively and attention to detail.
