How you contribute

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced QA Engineer to work alongside our cross functional engineering team to develop and execute end-to-end test plans throughout our software delivery life-cycle. The successful candidate will be working on our advanced automation for iOS, Android, Web platforms and associated systems including the Hovermap mapping and autonomy payload, accessories for this payload, and the drones on which we deploy our system.

• Field test the data capture functionality of Emesents product suite. This will include operation of GPS and Terrestrial survey equipment, operation of unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, and use of several software packages to process and evaluate the accuracy and correctness of the captured data.
• Ensure QA systems, processes and practices are followed
• Work with our developers to conduct testing on users stories, new features and functions ensuring all acceptance criteria are met
• Conduct regression testing as part of our delivery life­ cycle
• Create detailed test plans, design test cases and gather required data for new hardware and software features as they are developed
• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure adequate test coverage to maintain the quality of our products
• Coordinate with product management, development and QA teams to deliver stable products
• Work with QA Engineers and Developers to find solutions
• Provide continuous feedback on QA processes to increase effectiveness
• Ensure defects and bugs are raised, triaged, fixed and retested adequately

• Perform other testing-related duties as required

• Must hold a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) Multi Rotor up to 25 kg, and have significant experience as a pilot
• Must hold a drivers License
• Good communications skills
• Ability to operate collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Qualifications or experience in Surveying or a related field is desirable
• Experience operating Total Stations and GNSS survey equipment is desirable
• Experience as a software tester, and familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking software is desirable.
