Our Location
Energy Trust provides for a range of work location options, including remote, hybrid and in-office work. This position will represent Energy Trust in public settings and potentially at community events. We are open to candidates who live throughout Oregon and Washington. The Program Manager, Communities + New Initiatives would be expected to report to the office on a quarterly basis, at minimum.
The Program Manager – Communities and New Initiatives is responsible for executing the launch and management of community-focused offers and initiatives that enable Energy Trust to better serve communities; particularly customers and communities that the organization has historically underserved. Initial areas of focus will include the launch and management of a Community Partner Network, which will streamline and enhance our partnerships with community based organizations, and operationalizing the organization’s efforts to integrate community feedback, needs and priorities across Energy Trust’s programs and offerings.
This position is a key contributor to Energy Trust’s Communities and New Initiatives (CaNI) Sector, which is embedded within the organization’s broader Energy Programs Group; this Sector is responsible for developing and implementing cross-program strategies and initiatives to increase access to clean energy solutions for all of Energy Trust’s customers. This position reports to the Sr. Program Strategies Manager, Communities + New Initiatives and will work closely with other roles throughout the organization.
This position is expected to report to the Portland office quarterly at a minimum for all staff and other in-person meetings. This position may also be expected to travel occasionally to regions in our service territory.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
