Multi Media Specialist - Bilingual Preferred (Redbird) Onsite

We are seeking a creative and talented Multimedia Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing multimedia content that supports our workforce opportunity youth program. This includes developing engaging visual and audio materials that promote our mission, highlight participant success stories, and attract new partners and participants. 

• Create and edit multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and audio materials, to support program initiatives and marketing efforts. 

• Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling content that highlights participant success stories, program events, and key achievements. 

• Manage the organization’s social media platforms by creating and scheduling posts that engage and inform our audience. 

• Design marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital ads, to promote program activities and events. 

• Assist in the production of virtual and in-person events, including setting up audiovisual equipment and live streaming. 

• Maintain and organize a multimedia library of photos, videos, and graphics for easy access and use by the team. 

• Ensure all multimedia content aligns with the organization's branding and messaging guidelines. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in multimedia content creation and social media management. 

• Provide technical support for multimedia-related projects and tasks as needed. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in multimedia content creation, including video production, graphic design, and social media management. 

• Proficiency in multimedia software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software. 

• Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and impactful content. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Passion for youth development and commitment to the mission of the organization.

Work Requirements: Extensive standing, sitting, computer, phone, and deskwork required; some kneeling and lifting of up to 10 pounds required; work primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours, although flexible hours including overtime may be required; interacts one on one and in groups with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. 

This is an Exempt position.

The salary is: $52,000.00 per year.
