Digital Cartographer Specialist

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Digital Cartographer Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed digital maps and cartographic products using the latest GIS technologies. You will collaborate with various departments to provide accurate and visually appealing maps that support decision-making and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and design high-quality digital maps for various projects and applications.
• Utilize GIS software to analyze spatial data and generate accurate cartographic outputs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure maps meet project needs.
• Maintain and update map databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information.
• Perform quality control checks on maps and spatial data.
• Stay current with advancements in cartographic technologies and methodologies.

• Bachelor's OR Associate degree in Cartography, Geography, or a related field.
• 7+ Years of experience in one or more of the following areas; GIS/geospatial technology and/or remote sensing and image interpretation; design and creation of visual/hardcopy presentations, DTP report publishing, technical illustration design, as related to unique requirements in the oil industry.
• Incumbent must demonstrate a reasonable understanding of expected work requirements, and selectively apply the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully complete all required production assignments; on-the-job-training in basic cartographic and graphic disciplines must cover effective training and use of computer applications and techniques, including full understanding of Input/ Output production devices.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cartographic principles and map design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
