Stylist Associate

The Stylist Associate will assist the Sr. Stylist in the preparation and execution of styling for all creative productions, including editorial, e-commerce, and social. The Stylist Associate will oversee the organization and preparation of samples for photo shoots, steaming garments, and dressing models on set. Working with the Sr. Stylist, the Stylist Associate will aid in the creation of styling decks for each shoot, and will share credits of styles used in editorial productions cross-functionally with various teams. The Stylist Associate will assist in researching inspiration and sourcing styling props for editorials. In collaboration with the Sr. Stylist and production team, The Stylist Associate will maintain the organization of the sample closet, ensuring samples are kept up to date by removing products based on exit dates and filtering in new products by go-live dates. 

The Stylist Associate will report directly to the Sr. Stylist and collaborate cross-functionally with the production and creative teams. 

This role requires solid organizational and communication skills.

Your day-to-day:

• Assist Sr. Stylist in preparation of weekly e-commerce and monthly editorial shoots 
• Organize and steam samples for creative productions
• Maintain the sample closet.  Flow samples into the sample closet and exit samples based on sample status (evergreen vs seasonal).
• Pull samples for on-figure photography for e-commerce, editorial, and social.
• Work cross-functionally with the Photo Production team to track samples for creative productions 
• Assist in the creation of styling decks for monthly editorial shoots
• Be knowledgeable regarding fit or product detail questions while the team is on set
• Research inspiration for seasonal executions and styling props

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Are located in the Los Angeles metro area 
• 2+ years of stylist assistant experience, including on-set/location experience 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong sense of time management, prioritization, and an ability to multitask.
• Proficient knowledge of Keynote/Google Docs, Excel, Powerpoint 
• A can-do attitude brings positive energy and enthusiasm to the set. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

The Fine Print:

If you are a California Resident:  At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly compensation range for this role is $20.50-$32.50/hr. This range is based on the Los Angeles geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. 

This is a full-time role based in our Los Angeles Creative Studio located in the Arts District and requires you to be on-site most days of the week.
