Summary of Position:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing advanced journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reports and analyses in support of monthly and annual financial accounting cycles. This individual will work with the Accounting Manager, other Accounting and Finance leaders, and various office and functional department leaders. The Senior Accountant will also assist on various accounting related projects and initiatives from time to time.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare advanced journal entries, including monthly revenue recognition entries
• Assist with accurate and timely month close process
• Perform in-depth revenue and other account analysis
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly internal financial statement package and other ad hoc financial reporting
• Key player in the completion of internal and external audits
• Partner effectively with other colleagues and departments on projects that require accounting assistance
• Assist with other accounting functions/ special projects as needed
• Make recommendations and suggestions for improvements and efficiencies related to accounting functions
• Assist with miscellaneous treasury functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• Experience in public accounting and/or in-house accounting required with private equity/M&A experience preferred
• 4+ years experience of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on General Ledger accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel experience with (Oracle NetSuite) preferred.
• Effective time management skills, ensuring efficient task prioritization and completion
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high quality work
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment

The target compensation for this salaried exempt opportunity includes a base salary range of $95,000 to $105,000, the potential for an annual bonus, plus benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience, and location. As you go through our interview process, your recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range.
