Technical Project Manager - Shopify

Evertech is seeking a dedicated Technical Project Manager specialized in Shopify to lead our eCommerce projects for one of our clients - a successful Shopify Agency in NYC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and delivery of Shopify-based solutions for our clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

You will act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, translating business requirements into technical specifications while ensuring that the project objectives align with the overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Shopify projects
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary
• Facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress
• Help drive the adoption of best practices in project management and Shopify implementation
• Assist in the evaluation of new tools and technologies to enhance project efficiency

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
• Strong technical background with an understanding of Shopify architecture, APIs, and integrations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changes quickly
